Well, it took them one month to finally print and ship my books!
I hope to get them in the next week or so. Once they arrive, if all is well, then the Expanded Powers Guide and the Adventure Guide will BOTH be available on POD!

Sadly, it's dead in the water until I figure out how to do ink coverage properly in a PDF/X format through acrobat. The setup is much different through this printer. And, with the kickstarter I'm doing, this is on the back burner.
That's not to say it won't get done, though.
I may try again soon.

I finally had some time to try again. I was able to get the core rulebook through and approved. It looks good, too.

Start with this one for POD. I'll get to work on the others soon. Remember, I need to order a proof of each and approve it prior to allowing it to be available in print, so even if I finish the books this week, it will be 10-14 days before I can release them.

If they don't respond, I can't fix it, and I can't release as is, because it looks terrible.

So, it arrived today and looks like crap. The colors are muted, the transparencies on PNGs are all ruined and blacked out or grayed out.
They don't let you preview it before you purchase, and this format worked for Amazon.
Honestly, I'd just buy it from Amazon. It will probably be weeks before I can get any answers from the printer, adjust the settings, and then order a new proof.
It will be available at some point, but it will be awhile.

Still working through the process.
The files were uploaded a couple weeks ago, but they don't send any notification or offer any previews to let you know if the files look all right and if the bleeds and layouts print correctly.
I've ordered a preview copy, but that takes a up to 14 days to print and 3-4 weeks shipping to get here. Then I'll know if it printed right.
If it did, I can make it active. If it didn't, I'll have to edit the whole thing to their specifications based on what looks wrong, and then order another one. It's a pretty backward system to be honest.
Amazon's POD is way more streamlined and the turnaround is faster. You know the same day how it's going to look and it's available for sale within 24-72 hrs of approval.
Wish I had a better answer for you!

Decided to go ahead and get on those paperback copies. I've uploaded files for all 3 volumes of version 1.2
I will need to order a prototype copy for each and approve it before it's available. That will likely take 2-4 weeks by the time I get them, supposing that no changes need to be made.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
