>>>NOW FOR PATHFINDER!!<<<

The city of Archon.

The most cosmopolitan, technologically advanced metropolis the world has ever seen,

where the nations of the world have at last come together to lay aside their differences.

Will it be our last hope for a peaceful future or the chilling harbinger of a totalitarian dystopia?

It falls to the members of the Division of Public Safety to protect Archon and its inhabitants from threats from both without and within.

But which is the greater threat?
In a future of ambiguous ethnicity and rampant cyberization,
what use is there for obsolete national borders and political beliefs?
The boundaries separating man and machine are not only blurred, but utterly erased.
The conflict in this new-fledged world is not between nations or between law and order
but between millennia-old traditions and an inevitable shift in consciousness,
with the very meaning of 'humanity' and even 'identity' placed in the crosshairs.
Will Archon be the beacon of a shining future, or will its enemies bring it crashing to the ground.

NeuroSpasta is a cyberpunk/transhumanist setting using Pathfinder rules.  In this book, you’ll find…

*Over a hundred new feats.

*Buy, modify, and control robots.

*Hundreds of new weapons, armor, and gear.

*Dozens of cybernetics from basic implants to total body replacements.

*Purchase and build programs to help yourself or cripple enemies.

*New adversaries including robots, cyborgs, and supercomputers.

*Includes the adventure, Dreams of Man.

I greatly enjoy this and Amethyst, but have a singular issue with them. Weapons keep the same damage dice they had in 4E, which means that the wonderful toys in here don't scale in the same way that other representations of advanced weapons by Paizo do. Has anyone in-house done a scaling or tweak to the damage values to better reflect a comparison to PF Core or the Technology Guide?

Well, this book was published before Paizo's Technology Guide, and like what we did with our other books, it's a character's class that augments damage, not the weapon.

Ah, OK. That's far too reasonable an answer. :) When you were running playtests or just gaming with this or Amethyst, did you mix-n-match source material available at the time? If so, how did it stack up?
(I know Amethyst had EDF and other things to balance out the tech/magic paradigm, but as someone who loves throwing everything including the kitchen sink and the entire countertop into their games I'm mostly curious)

So the funny thing is that EVERY game we ever ran was with a mixed group (traditional fantasy classes with our tech classes). We have determined that a solitary tech character is on par with an equally leveled fighter (our baseline as the fighter has an even progression compared to the wizard). However, pairing the right tech classes increases their damage output can actually make a tech character more powerful (depending on the combination). Now, NeuroSpasta only offers the manipulator class, which is hard to balance as it is not a damage-focused class. Rather, it's a control class with a lot of abilities centered on out of combat effectiveness.

On page 227, the unique opponent LEGION references the Mirror archetype next to it's hit points. Where can I find the Mirror archetype?

Probably why I missed it, it's not an 'archetype' in the traditional sense for Pathfinder. Thanks for clarifying.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
