It's easy to be distracted by the colorful ponies that have laid dominion over the world of Everglow, but they are far from the only race that has carved out their own portion of things and demands recognition. From the whimsical flutterponies to the despised impure, these lesser races are given a chance to be known, from social mores to combat abilities.

This Book Includes

  • Two New Races!
  • Take control of the gem gnolls, if they’ll let you. Seek treasure at all costs, or perhaps look for a better way?
  • The donkies of Everglow were not given a fair shake. The impure are prejudiced against harshly, but under your guidance, perhaps they can find justice, or at least peace.

As Well As:

  •  Dozens of feats
  •  Many new spells
  •  Compatible with both Pathfinder and the 5th edition of the most popular roleplaying game
  •  Detailed looks into the lives of each race, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in your character.

Are all the items you've made compatible with 5E? Including this one?

To clarify, the 2nd half was me mismatching information, but I've noticed some items will say things like 'compatible with Ponyfinder and Pathfinder' so I've no idea if they are able to be used in D&D

I understood that bit, I was asking about items other than this, some of the singular items such as Day & Night or Grown From Steel didn't mention 5E at all

If the front cover lacks the 5th edition fantasy stamp, do not expect 5E. Sun and Moon is entirely within Gods of Everglow, which is 5E compatible, so grab that and enjoy!

Gods of Everglow? Is that supposed to mean Everglow Religions or Forgotten Gods of Everglow

I have the Dawn of the Fifth Age campaign setting book and play only using the 5E ruleset; what is new here that isn't included in that book I'd need/want that isn't included in the core book? I just checked my BackerKit and noticed that I didn't have this book on my list of those that I bought from the Kickstarter, debating if it is something I need to pick-up or not.

Two new races. More detailed lore on all the not-pony fey of Everglow. New spells. More racial options for flutterponies (Wanna be a moth or dragonfly? We handle that).

This is a bit of a slap in the face if you bought tribes of everglow.

Tribes of Everglow is a book about the ponies of Equestria.
Races of Everglow is a book about the not-ponies of Equestria.

They have little to do with one another. The information in one is not in the other.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
