A tad disappointed with this one. Nothing seems to be "cyberpunk." Mostly just items that could be literally in any genre and way too many name tables. Also, adobe doesn't work with however this is formatted. Big letdown

The book do the job but why print this in such a oversized format? It take way too much space on the game table, the pages could be half the size they are. The tables are ok but there could be a few more of them. I feel letdown but still I would have given 3 stars if the reviews were enabled.

Can you give a better list of the 32 random tables in the description? The file previews shows 9 lists of person names, which I assume there is at least another 2 name lists (American male names in the preview starts at #3). I think it is great that you made 32 lists, but I'd like to know just how many of them are generic person name lists, which don't really seem to have much of anything cyberpunk flavored, versus other lists that might be more topically useful. Perhaps your sample & description could be more like the one you show in the "The Book of Random Tables: Science Fiction" which includes a table of contents.
[comment edit to add the Sci-Fi table ToC mention.]

I'm sorry. I'm not seeing an issue on my side, but I'll try to help as much as possible. What device or reader are you using? Also, since I'm not seeing an issue with any of the files, you could contact DriveThruRPG's support.

I contacted support and they tested the file in Adobe and Google Reader and it worked fine. They suggested making sure your Readers were currently updated. If that doesn't resolve the issue, they asked if you would contact support. Sorry for any trouble.

I don't know if that's the case here, but I've found that Adobe Reader on some platforms, such as the Fire tablet, doesn't always cope well with PDFs created in such as Scribus.

Yeah, I have the same issue. Brand new install of Adobe on iPad Pro, complete gibberish.

Edit: Looks like it works ok in Foxit PDF on iPad Pro.

I think it's a bad reaction between Scribus PDFs, Adobe Reader and some devices. But possibly not even all devices of that type. Hard to track down. One way of fixing it (without using other PDF software) is to make each page an image, so there is no text.

I have the same problem here, with "Modern" and "1920-1930s" Random Tables. It's disappointing. I hope they can work it out.

I've got this weird problem where the chapter headings and table top labels are in a different font so that for example table of contents comes out as like qdv#
The tables themselves are readable but if I copy the qdv line and then print it into a normal document it says table of contents so I think there's a font that's embedded here that's not normally available or has not been included within the document. I'm able to use it but it's a little bit frustrating.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
