We had some printing issues which meant it got yanked from sale as a POD. We are now also battling with the changes from Saddled-Stitched format to Perfect-Bound. Issue one is once more available in POD, issue two will hopefully follow soon. I imagine that when Issue 3 is ready for POD so too will Issue 2 be ready. Then you can buy both together.

If you can get issue 3 out by Spring, that would be a lovely birthday present for me. I'm particularly looking forward to seeing more of Mauristatia, and seeing what fantastic beasts are still to venture Out of the Pit.

Thanks for asking! I'll consider it as I do enjoy FF (since the 1980s). I do write reviews about many subjects on different platforms. For example, Google says I have a huge following! That said, right now my bread and butter employment is eating up all my time (one day off only) until we have a new hire. What about a subscription to the print copy? Personally, I would be willing to pay $40 a year.

Hi Wayne. Graham has placed the POD files onto DTRPG but the way their process works mean he must order a proof copy, then receive and review it, before they will make the file public. Please be patient a little while longer and it will be available very soon, I promise!

I need to get the files altered to fit DTRPG's POD requirements and send them to Graham. He then needs to get a proof ordered. So a few weeks, maybe?

As Sam says, it takes a while to get the files right and uploaded, for the printers to check and approve and then for a test print to be produced and sent. The Pandemic slows this down a lot, but it is in progress.
We would rather get the pdf out when it is readty, and then send out discount codes for the print version to pdf buyers when the hardcopy is available.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
