An absolutely stellar product, this is absolutely packed with great content that feels very authentically "WFRP-y". It contains one of my favourite city books (the Guide to Ubersreik), packed with adventure hooks for the various locations. The six pregenerated characters are the best pregens I've ever seen. The starter adventure is really nice (though perhaps needs a little GM work) and the Adventure Book also features a bunch of adventure outlines. All of this at this price is astonishingly good value. If you like WFRP then I can't recommend this product enough!

I found the setting guide half of the book an excellent resource, giving a lot of depth into the town of Ubersreik, and hooks that I was able to build a whole campaign off of.

The prewritten adventures are a little less useful in my opinion, especially if your PCs aren't using the Pregens.

Still, an excellent purchase and an excellent reference for the setting of Warhammer.

The Starter Set is the most worthy product Cubicle 7 has released for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay so far. In it, on top of having an intro designed both for new roleplayers and people new to Warhammer or this system, it includes a massive ammount of source material fleshing out the City of Ubersreik, and most of them work as nodes for intertwining with other material that has been released too. Add a couple of astonishing looking d100 dice, and you just can't avoid this product.

PS: The box doubles down as a mini GM Screen, and once you get the actual GM Screen product, it fits perfectly in the Starter Set box.

Rich and beautiful, every page drips with the chaotic fun of the Old World. More story hooks than you can shake a fish at. Perfect step for those considering stepping into the world for the first time, and like returning home for those that know their Ulthuan from their Athel Loren.

Going back to the roots! I kinda liked the card system of the 3rd edition, but 2nd ed gave more flexibility. With 4th ed, it just brings back a better system and makes the careers more open to either the chage between or specializing in what the Chaos Gods gave you. Great work!

Welcome to WFRP 4th! Welcome to Ubersreik!

I find this prodct very useful! First off, it has an introductory adventure spanning 4 “chapters”, pre-generated characters, quick rules, handouts with conditions and other useful things and everything you need in order to play (If you buy the physical product you get dice as well), just to play it as it is will give you approx. 20-30 hours of fun.

In addition it has many adventure seeds after the introductory adventure is completed, some including the pre-gens, some not, which helps you to continue playing on your own adventure if you wish to. If all of this wasn`t enough, I will almost say the best is still left, "The Guide to Ubersreik". This setting book is 64 pages and contains all you need to know about Ubersreik, it also has about 2 adventure seeds for every location it discusses. If your group is interested in staying in Ubersreik, you could easily write a campaign with the information and seeds given here. The physical box has a nice “dm screen” inside the lid as a bonus!

A superb source book and adventure book, only let down by the time it's taken to get sent out from pre-order

Cumbersome rules requiring multiple mathematical computations to solve simple combat checks. Charts instead of streamlined rules. Nothing improved since 2nd edition. Running in place where this could've been something new for the hobby. Very disappointed.

Delicious but incomplete product. Until the pre-gen characters sheets are released (January?) it is impossible to play the game, just to enjoy the Ubersreik sourcebook.

EDIT 2: It contains many typos, above all in the skills and stats of the 6 pre-generated PCs, that will be placed at the time of printing the paper version.

It's beautifully presented, very well-written, and is packed full of useful stuff. [Could do with some maps though]
