I can't reccomend this book enough. It was great just to read through for relaxation purposes, as well as adding a ton of awesome new monsters (both many people will recognize and a lot of awesome lesser known creatures from folklore) for any level party. The book also does a great job at setting a certain atmosphere that I can't wait to let influence a campaign. Even if you aren't looking for the specific enchanted forest, fairytale, legendary, or dark folktale atmospheres it can provide, the monsters are interesting in both lore and stats to fit into any campaign. Can't wait to put my players on quests centered around each and every creature in this book.

The folkloric monsters in this book really add a whole new kind of atmosphere to D&D, and I super appreciate how specific and flavorful they are! So much of D&D can just become the same generic fantasyland, but this breathes new life into it. 5/5 would recommend to anyone.

An amazing bestiary with a great variety of monsters from various mythologies. The PDF is well formatted. The art is great overall, and the lore provided is both interesting as well as giving a good idea of how to use the creatures. I would recommend this to anyone seeking to add some fantastic new monsters to their games.

A fantastic bestiary full of old european traditional monsters, and all pretty interestingly done too! Can't wait to use it, and will definetely do.

I read this manual and appreciated his general manufacture. The tables in the manual are really useful and the arts inside are spectacular. I recommend the purchase for anyone who's playing an adventure set in Journey to Ragnarok, Arkadia, Historia, Codex Venator etc. 5 stars for sure!

Oh wow, this book is absolutely amazing. Please buy this! The writers did an amazing job. The monsters are incredibly well done. The artwork is amazing. I can't wait to play in an adventure to face one of these bad boys. This book is a must have!

One - I love bestiaries probably more than I love setting books because the ten-year-old in me just wants to see kickass monsters. Two - I love old world folklore and mythology, and that is why so many of my homebrews draw inspiration from that. Third - breathes - OHMIGAWD THIS BOOK IS SO FLIPPING FLAPTASTIC! When Andrea reached out to me on behalf of the team to review this, I will admit I got nervous shivers about this bad larry cause I knew how much work, time and effort went into it. It was quite the beast to approach when reviewing, cause I wanted to be fair and build a comprehensive list and yaddah yaddah yaddah.

But as many of you assume, I was not able to. If I could have been an anime character I would have gotten a Mach 5 nosebleed and heart eyes the size of Minneapolis - because lordy I love this book so so so so so so much! I can't help it, there is so much murdering monster magic in this thing that it is brimming with life. I can smell the musk from Fenris, feel the hatred rolling off of the trolls, and the manipulative energies stemming from the nokken. But what really sets this book apart - aside from the absolutely star studded cast of writers and artists and designers - is the fact that it feels lived in.

You could take this book and give it to your players and it could feel as real as an in-world book as it would be a game manual for you to use. So to everyone who worked on this project, I grant you the vision of Wayne and Garth prostrating themsevles before and shouting "We're not worthy!" because you have all done an amazing and magnificent job in creating this book. To all the other people in the world - GO BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!
